Student Portal & Lesson FAQs

Need help with your account or lessons? Here are quick answers to some of the most common questions from Anthem Voice Studio students and families.

Student Portal

Your Student Portal is your home base for Anthem Voice Studio. You can view upcoming lessons, access billing and invoices, book new lessons with Shannon, and review notes from previous lessons.

After logging in, your upcoming lessons and scheduled times will appear in your portal calendar. It’s an easy way to double-check your schedule anytime.

Yes! You can view Shannon’s current availability and book an available lesson time directly through the scheduling system.

Lesson notes from previous sessions can be viewed through your Student Portal when available. They’re a great resource when practicing or reviewing what you worked on together.

Scheduling & Lessons

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. Lessons canceled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled according to studio availability and current studio policies.

Yes! Logging in a few minutes early gives you time to make sure your camera, microphone, internet connection, and lesson materials are ready so you can make the most of your lesson.

Have a quiet space, reliable internet, your charged device, water, and any assigned materials ready. Voice students may also need lyrics or accompaniment tracks;  a 2nd device for playing karaoke and backing tracks; acting and speaking students should have scripts, speeches, notes, or other assigned materials available.

Your lesson will still need to end at the originally scheduled time, so arriving on time helps you receive your full lesson experience.

Lessons & Practice

Consistency matters more than perfection! Shannon will help you set realistic practice goals based on your age, schedule, experience, and what you’re currently working toward.

Depending on your goals, lessons may include voice, acting, public speaking, audition preparation, song interpretation, performance skills, healthy vocal technique, or strategies for building confidence.

Absolutely! Shannon works with students at many different experience levels, including complete beginners. Lessons begin with where you are now and build from there.

Yes. Parents and guardians are responsible for scheduling, billing, and policy decisions for minor students and can use the family account to stay informed.

Billing & Account

Log in to your Student Portal and visit the account or invoice area to review your current balance, invoices, and payment information.

Lessons are prepaid to reserve your time. For individual private-pay lessons, payment should be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson unless other arrangements have been confirmed.

ESA and scholarship families may have different payment or funding procedures depending on their program. Contact Shannon if you’re unsure what steps are required for your specific funding program.

Email Shannon@Anthem-Voice.com and include a brief description of what you need help with. Shannon will be happy to point you in the right direction.
